9月28日上午，中国足协主导的“全国娃娃足球工程（广州站）”宣传月启动仪式，在广东省委机关幼儿园盛大举行。该次启动仪式由广州市足协主办，广州麦哲伦少儿体育科技有限公司、家庭期刊集团承办。

中国足协为深化贯彻落实《中国足球改革发展总体方案》精神，坚持“足球从娃娃抓起”，特从10月份在全国开展“娃娃足球工程”宣传月活动。本次活动紧紧围绕“小足球开启大梦想”的主题，针对3-6岁幼儿群体，将实行线上与线下、各级协会与各类组织的多元联动，共同打造趣味性、活泼性、普遍参与性的健康幼儿足球活动。重点传播足球活动对幼儿健康成长重要价值和意义、弘扬健康向上的体育精神与足球文化、突出兴趣导向，亲子足球，健康家庭，和谐社区。

事实上，幼儿足球事业在国内目前还是一个方兴未艾的领域，而广州市在这个方面已经走在全国的前列。过去两年，广州市足球协会竭力于青少年儿童足球事业，与专注幼儿足球启蒙教育的广州麦哲伦少儿体育科技有限公司携手同行，一直以来，通过更专业的教练、更科学的教材在全省的幼儿园里大范围地普及足球的启蒙教育，定期为青少年儿童举办大型趣味联赛，期待为优秀的足球苗子及足球天才提供扎实的基础平台与成长通道。

广州站启动仪式的活动现场设置了幼儿足球比赛及足球技能展示环节。在三人制足球比赛中，小球员个个球技高超，比赛过程精彩纷呈，现场气氛十分热烈。比赛结束后，参加比赛的小球员均获得纪念奖，旨在每位小朋友都能从比赛中体验快乐，吸引更多的儿童参与到足球比赛之中。在启动仪式结束后，广州市足协和麦哲伦公司在接下来的一个月，还将持续开展幼儿园足球文化周、娃娃足球教学活动、幼儿足球交流赛、幼儿足球学术交流等多层次的主题活动，力求把“娃娃足球”的创新思路和实践相结合。
